Tested the same motif on two fabrics; crepe-back satin and  mid-weight cotton denim. The satin worked better with this design because it had a tighter weave, the denim had a looser, twill weave that did not perform well with this design even when  re-worked to create more space

Design created was tested and etched on 3 different mediums: on a stained bamboo wood flooring sample, 100% cotton fabric, and plexiglass.
